We saw a beautiful Monarch butterfly fluttering around in our yard. I happened to have my binoculars outside observing our Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, and focused them on the Monarch. It was truly a Monarch, not a Viceroy as it did not have the horizontal black line across the lower wings.
