Finally spotted my "1st" Monarch of the season Sun. Aug. 16/15. I was starting to think I wouldn't see any this year! Was grateful to finally see one, considering in previous years, I usually see my 1st anywhere between end of May & early July. But better late than never.
Have noticed in the past few years, my 1st sighting is much later than it used to be & I'm seeing less & less each year. :(
