I had one Monarch come out of it’s chrysalis on (8/15/2015) Saturday. Not home at the time when it came out but the heat index that day was around 100. Total for the year is 18, down slightly from last years total of 23. All of these were raised in the house since the city sprays for mosquitoes which kills the caterpillars.
