I've had 3 to 4 monarchs in my yard every day for the last three weeks or so. The 60 mexican sunflowers I planted this spring have done wonders for providing the pollinators with nectar (I also have over 40 milkweed, various kinds). I've been bringing in caterpillars so they have a safe place to eat and hang while in their chrysalis. Presently, I have 12 chrysalis and there will be 14 by the end of today, with two caterpillars in their fourth instar.
