A single monarch flew by at the second floor level headed south west. It swerved between trees to make it's way about 4 pm.
A second monarch was visiting a butterfly bush and left it to fly about ten feet toward me nearly kissing my nose. I stood still as it flew up and around me. Then it flew off to rest on another non-flowering bush. This was afternoon too. I was wearing a bright blue flowery top - maybe it was seeing if I was truly a blossom?
