i was out on the porch, saw three monarch butterflies flying from milkweed to milkweed. at days end, i found two caterpillars on a pot of milkweed on my porch. they had eaten thru most all of the leaves!!! i brought a jar out, put some leaves in put the two caterpillars in. one has already formed the shell? not the right word.three were butterflies, two were the caterpillars. total five on monday :)
