Milkweed has made a comeback in our area. From just a few small patches, we now have dozens of patches and they are spreading.
Sighted 5 Monarch butterflies feeding on Goldenrod which is also plentiful now. The butterflies were not migrating. They continue to stay in the area, feeding from flower to flower.
