I observed RT hummers on the following flowers/bushes--pink penstemon, walker's low nepeta, blue salvia, black and blue salvia, pink petunia in hanging baskets, and white althea bush. Favorites were the penstemon, black and blue salvia and especially the white althea bush (it has larger blooms and has some small insects also.)

I have seen up to 8 hummers at one time but they were distributed between plants, feeders and aerial acrobatics.
