I hadn't seen any Monarchs for a week and today two of them flew through my yard. I couldn't get close enough to tell if they were male or female. They were both bright colored and fresh looking. They did not stop to nectar even though the New England Aster has started blooming. They just breezed through the garden and kept going. There is a good breeze from the Northwest today.
