I reported on 08/15/15, that our day did not hear thier chatter or see them at the feeder, that our regular humming birds were gone. On 08/16/15 and through today we have hummingbirds!!! I am new at this and I can't honestly say they are migrating birds or our locals...I do know they were no where to be found on the 15th, before that - from they're arrival until then - they were seen many times a day. I will say there does seem to be more in our area than before. I know we are on a migritory path as our home is on the Chesapeak Bay, West side, north of the bay bridge in Maryland. I'm watching and learning....Going to the library to check out some books tomorrow!!!
