Just counted 16 tiny caterpillars in the tropical milkweed patches in my garden. I have cut 3 pieces of milkweed each with one instar to bring in and try to hand raise. First attempt at this. Left the other 13 to grow on their own. Had pretty good luck earlier this summer in getting a large batch to reach maturity as a caterpillar and leave milkweed on their own for making pupa. Exciting to know this is the super generation coming along and hoping most of them succeed.
