I have one male hummer and possibly three females. They are battling hard over territory rights, showing up both before sunup and after sundown. My one male positions himself daily on the plastic zip tie that holds one of my feeders. It's very clear that he is standing guard over what he believes is his property alone, and chases all the others away constantly. This battle dance continues all day long.
