We have had ruby-throated hummingbirds all summer at our feeders and in our garden, but not more than three at one time. The last few days we have seen as many as five at once, including several males. They are extremely active, feeding both at the flowers and at the feeders, and--to anthropomorphize--having a great time dive-bombing and chasing each other all around the garden and in the adjacent woods. I assume we have migrants coming through regularly at this point.
