Hummingbird Sighting (Adult Male)

Date: 08/22/2015

Number: 1

We still have our male ruby throat, Mr. Speedy.....yay!! Last year we last saw him on Aug. 23, which is only one day away. He doesn't look like he's fattened up at all yet, so I hope that means we'll get to see him a little longer than last year. (alot longer would be even better, of course!!) Our 2 feeders have been being drained alot quicker the past couple of weeks.....it looks like a mad house out there with all of the chasing, fighting & dive bombing, but they're all so comical to watch! It's hard to count them because of how lightning fast they speed around, but we have at least 4, maybe 6, with 2 - 4 being juvies. This has me being from Sewell, which is my mailing address, but we're actually in Washington Twp., Gloucester County.
