Monarch larvae on milkweed plant in garden. A large size.It was right out in the open so, concerned for its safety, I covered it with a unside down large mesh laundry bin. Mesh lets in plenty of air and light but keeps larvae from prediters in garden birds, praying mantas, wasps, etc. It is a perfect solution. Added sturdy branches for hanging when ready. Hope it lives. Now the odds are abit better for our monarch. Also sighted eggs on other milkweed.took pictures. Will to send them. Mary Reilly
