Through August 10th we still had males with ruby throats but now I am seeing very few mature males. We are still going through a half gallon of sugar water a day. The hummers are staying close to the feeders and often there are more buzzing over the feeder than spots. Between my 4 feeders there are often close to 70-80 birds at once but only 26 "blossoms".
