I have 7 feeders up all around my house....they fight and swoop on each other..
just now 2 went diving and one hummer got her beak stuck in the screen of my
porch. she stayed for about 15 seconds when I jumped over to help her out, but she was able to leave on her own. sure hope she's ok. they are just crazy sometimes! I do agree with some other hummer people that it is earlier than last year for them to come thru....I usually start to see these numbers (at least 8-10) around the 1st of sept. I checked my book from 2014 that around the sept.8 I had at least 12-14 daily that I
could account for.
