My husband and I have seen the Monarch butterflys on our butterfly bushes during the month of July 2015 and early August. I believe they were after the nectar. Most of them were orange & black in color , but we also saw a few beautiful black & blue in color. We recently read an article in our local newspaper about the Monarch.My number was probably an estmate for the week, next year I will definitely keep an accurate count.
