Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 08/23/2015

Number: 3

This summer have had monarchs regularly...as well as last few. I would say that flower plantings and allowing milkweed to grow has contributed to pollinator health in general here in Montague. Last year July 4 a stranger stopped and released 2 monarchs in our yard. We also have good numbers of swallow tail. I am curious...should I discourage any of the wasps that we have? We have lots of the ones that make community nests under eaves and such. Thank you
