Since I started paying more attention on August 20 2015 (Thursday) I always see some hummingbirds at my 4 feeders throughout the entire day. I saw 1 adult male on August 20 and again on August 22. The busiest feeding time begins at 6 a.m and continues until the feeders are empty. I fill them again and the busiest feeding afterwards is 6-8 p.m. but this week it has been busy all day with about 12-14 at any one time fighting over the feeders. I still have honeysuckle and what I believe is pineapple sage (has a red bloom) next to a red rose bush that they visit.
