One male emerged from his chrysalis in our garden on August 19, 2015. Two others (one male and one female) ~ also in our garden ~ emerged on August 21. One of the males fell as he was emerging, but my husband rescued him ~ sitting for several hours and allowing the Monarch to hang from his ear (this is where the Butterfly crawled!) as his wings spread and then from his shirt as they dried!
