I put my feeders up the middle of July and 2 hummingbirds appeared shortly after. One hummingbird definitely staking claim on my yard and chasing the other out. I also have a huge flower garden for them to choose from. I wonder if the smoke from the surrounding fires have sent them earlier than usual or in larger concentrations.
