happened to be outside my house around 2:40pm and saw a monarch flitting around the bushes by the side. I also believe I saw one this morning 08/26/15 around the corner at the Mariposa Rd location previously reported

re: the first queen larva I reported recently, was quite plump and healthy looking early Sunday morning 08/23/15. when i went outside a couple of hours later to check on her and the newer little larva, the first queen had disappeared! i looked every where around, thinking i might find her maybe beginning her cocoon, to no avail! haven't seen her since. I have brought the younger one inside on her milkweed mansion where she continues to eat and molt.
