As I travel about Kansas, I am seeing a fair number of butterflies bouncing about as they travel south. What I am most struck by is how little food appears to be around. There are small tracks of flowers here and there but most fields have been mowed, plowed. I had planned to catch some for O.E. parasites but they are really boogying down the road, too quick for me!
