We planted 5 milkweed plants this spring in our butterfly garden beside the art room. Those milk weeds had 9 larva's happily eating the leaves. The plants also have lots of milkweed bugs. We have taken 4 larva into the classrooms to observe the lifecycle and plan to release the monarchs so they can complete their migration.
