I discovered 5 monarch caterpillars on our milkweed in our garden we planted last year when we returned from holidays. We also had 5 in July that were sucessfully rleased. We brought them in the house in an enclosure in the chrysalis form. Currently Aug 28, we have 3 chrysalis and 2 cats in the J pattern, should be chrysalis by tomorrow. We decided to bring them in the hous knowing their chances of survival increase. To my understanding these will be the migrating monarchs.
