Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/29/2015

Number: 5

Not exactly sure how many because they move too fast, but our resident ruby throat females & juvies are still in their feeding frenzy with constant high speed chases all day long! We do have 1 juvie male with red splotches on his throat. I think we had a migrant here today.....she was on our hummer swing & acted like it was all new to her. The swing has a red bead hooked at the top of the swing & she hovered up to it & back down on the swing a couple of times, as if she'd never seen it before. All of our regulars are so used to the hummer swing that they don't even bother with or care about that little red bead anymore!
