Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 08/30/2015

Number: 30

I'm seeing numerous Monarch's today. There have been one or more in my yard since about 9a.m. They are not staying long enough for me to catch them on camera. they breeze in, take a look around, maybe have a quick sip of nectar and are back up and flying South as best they can. The weather is sunny and warm today with an off/on light wind from the South. Pink phlox are still the flower of choice, followed by New England Aster with Dogtooth Daisy and pink Anemone distant runners-up.
