While sitting on my back deck for 30 minutes this afternoon we saw 4 monarchs.
3 were hovering around the zinnias and other plants. The fourth monarch was flying south. We saw it fly over our neighbours silver maple that is at least 70 feet tall. It was clearly trying to fly south to Lake Ontario.
