Counted 21 Monarchs in the yard early afternoon-more than the 12 or more I observed yesterday. There were probably more than 21 in the yard today as the flower beds are somewhat spread out and the butterflies were active so it was difficult to count. They were visiting zinnia beds, Mexican Sunflower beds (Tithonia rotundifolia - Red Torch and Yellow Torch), and Joe Pye Weed plants.
