Between 11:30am and 7:00pm there was as many as 4 monarchs feeding at one time on meadow blazing stars and tropical milkweed. This was before I released 5 monarchs. Around 2:00pm an aggressive male took over the butterfly garden and he chased away any monarchs or other butterflies that approached. He also chased away a hummingbird on a number of occasions.
