I released this one beautiful male Monarch today. I put it on a flower and after a few minutes it flew up and away over my neighbor's house and was gone.
I was given the caterpillar to raise. It is the first one that I have done this with, and hope that I can do many more next year.
I am now raising two more that I found as eggs on my milkweed, and two other caterpillars that I found in a field several days ago.
