Saturday it was a warm, muggy day and rained in the afternoon. Around 10 a.m. there were 3 big, beautiful, healthy Monarchs fluttering around in the backyard, and eating from all the zinnias and sunflowers . Two were chasing each other. They all stuck around all day until the rain came. One reappeared after the rain. I saw one perched in a nearby tree for awhile! It was exciting to see so many at once! There were other butterflies back there too!
