Saw many nectaring in the sunflowers, cup plants and black-eyed susans during the heat of the day. Tonight, they were coming into in the roosting trees in small numbers like they used to but were settling in singles and pairs. No larger groups yet. We were able to tag 11. We expect numbers to grow now until a low pressure system comes in and sends them on their way south..
