Counted about 20 Monarchs in the yard mid morning mostly visiting Mexican Sunflowers and zinnias. Monarchs were in the yard all day but difficult to count as they were flying between flower beds. It was a hot, humid day with no wind. Between 6:50 and 7:00 pm I observed a few butterflies settling in on a mature Silver Maple tree and on a mature oak tree.
