Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/01/2015

Number: 3

Our two acre yard is filled with jewelweed. We have never planted it so I think over the last few years the hummingbirds have planted it themselves. We see a little bit of jewelweed in other places when we're out driving and running errands but nothing like the amount we have here. I saw two females and, I think, a male today. He was shy and didn't get too close but I'm sure I saw a distinct white collar.
