We have seen 4 Monarchs in the Botanical Garden at the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center where I now work. The milkweed is thriving (we've had lots of rain) and 80 plants in one area along the roadway were counted on 08/29/15 by Gary Nabhan. He also reported larvae maturing on the milkweed leaves. Gary is a regular visitor and friend of ours.
