The date started slow with only one Monarch all morning. We had rain overnight which gave way to a hot, humid but gloomy day. At about 3:30pm the sun finally came out and the Monarchs appeared as if from nowhere. There were several in my yard at one time. The last one appeared and feed about 6:45pm. A few minutes later I saw it fly up into a Maple tree in the neighbors yard. I'm assuming it will spend the night there.
