One newish adult nectaring on buddleia (butterfly bush). I was unable to sex it due to it's distance from me. This was my first adult monarch sighted this year. I am hoping it is one of the two catepillars I observed on my first year swamp milkweed plants a few weeks ago. (I had to go out of town for two weeks when the two would have been newly emerging...sigh).
