Headed east of Toronto for the day and will return there for the weekend as of tomorrow morning. Captured 25 adults - almost all new, pristine individuals - one of which was recently emerged and flopping about in a spider web. Captured another individual - again newly emerged - spotted on the trunk bark of a 5-foot white cedar tree - partially hidden by the leaves.

Collected another 35 large caterpillars, 4 smaller ones and a couple of very small caterpillars and 2 eggs.

Today was the hottest day of the year so far in Toronto - 33 C or 91.4 F. Weather for the next few days to be warm and sunny. With this humidity (88%), there is a possibility of afternoon thunder storms.
