Went to Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area near Stevens PA. Again saw these butterflies on stops along the car tour trail there. Found near one of many common milkweed stands there. Both butterflies were moving about. Believe they were females since they visited both common milkweed plants and nectar plants like clover plants that were growing near fields leased to farmers. Saw a large 5th instar monarch cat--- believe he was close to ready to pupate. He was still on milkweed at this point, but not eating.
