Tiny little hummingbirds appeared at feeder 1-2 weeks ago. Adult Males seem to be gone. Two ladies are very protective over feeder swooping at each other morning to dusk. It's been very hot here, so even though liquid wasn't disappearing as quickly as in summer, I freshened it up. Our feeder is on a shepherd's crook and the birds seem to enjoy sitting on the top and looking around. I'll miss them in a couple of weeks. But they know and I know it's time to go.
