Saw a mating pair last evening in my butterfly garden. This morning I saw a female laying eggs. Found 12 eggs on various milkweeds throughout the garden. I didn't check all my milkweed as I have around 400 plants so there could be more eggs out there.
This evening I saw another pair mating so I'll be looking for egg laying tomorrow.
This is the first year I've found any eggs after the first week of August.
Hot and humid here again today.
