Traveled 30 miles south and north again today. Saw about 15 monarchs.....compared to about 30 on Tuesday (Sept 1)
Very hot and humid again today. Wind perhaps 5-10 mph out of the southeast.
The captive chrysalides we have from Big Lake Farm still have not eclosed; I would expect 2-3 days from now.
There should be similar results at Big Lake. Monarchs right in our yard and back hill have been few in number. Best guess is there should be emerges within the next week.
