Rufus Hummingbird flew in for some nourishment and sat on the feeder for about 10 minutes, then was gone in a flash. I tried to get a photo but battery was dead. Since we had a hummer until 2nd of Dec. last year, I've been keeping a feeder going in case we once again have some late arrivals possibly from Alaska. Our own hummers left at the beginning of August. We had about 16 youngsters (rufus, Calliope, and a black and white one. They left so quick and were all gone in one day.
