I was happy to see a good number of Monarchs still around the farm, we reported the first fall roost 20 days ago. About 50 were around the building site and they settled in small roosts of 6 to 8 Monarchs. Another 30 were on one of our prairie remnants feeding mainly on Stiff goldenrod and they remained overnight.
