Am continuing to refill all six of my 2.3 oz. feeders every three days. Spotted a female with a small patch of white feathers at the base of her beak. I believe this to be the same hummingbird that has appeared at the end of the summer for the past four years, and I have never seen her any earlier in the season. There is no way to prove that she is the same bird,of course, but I have never seen another here with the same white marking.
