Several Monarch females have been laying eggs on our Asclepias plants, and today I found our first caterpillar. Probably third instar. Moved the cat to a safe Kritter Keeper, and will tag the adult prior to release. Our daughter's 8th grade science class will have the opportunity to care for and observe this transformation.
