Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/06/2015

Number: 1

All good things must come to an end :-( We're down to one last lonely lil hummer, which I believe is a juvie. Yesterday, we were down to 2 out there pretty much all day feeding from the feeders & flowers, chasing each other, but also sharing the hummer swing....one would be on the bar of the swing & the other on the top of the swing at the same time. They shared it a few times during the day....it was cute! Our male left sometime last week.....I don't know the exact day, but I do know he was here a little more than a week longer than last year. I doubt this one last young little girl will be here too much longer, but we'll be keeping both feeders & both swings up for another month or so for the migrants passing thru. It's always sad when they leave, but at least we know other hummer lovers to our South will be enjoying them during their migration.
