Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/06/2015

Number: 7

Monarch traffic was slower today. We had rain off and on all morning and into the early afternoon hours. The weather is hot and humid. The sun came out mid afternoon and the Monarchs magically appeared and fed at New England Aster and other flowers in the garden. They were still around at 6pm and magically disappeared as they will do. Last night I had Monarchs here until 7:30. Two of them were sitting very still on shrubs in the yard and I thought they would roost there - even though it was low to the ground. However, a little while later I checked back and they were gone.
